About Justin Jackson

Justin Aaron Jackson (born March 28, 1995) is an American professional basketball player currently a free agent who most recently played for the Texas Legends of the NBA G League. He rose to prominence as a standout high school player, earning co-MVP honors at the 2014 McDonald's All-American Boys Game. Jackson played college basketball at the University of North Carolina (UNC) from 2015 to 2017, where he had a decorated career. He was a key contributor to the Tar Heels’ 2017 NCAA championship team and was named a consensus first-team All-American and ACC Player of the Year in 2017. Following his junior season, Jackson declared for the 2017 NBA Draft and was selected 15th overall by the Portland Trail Blazers before being traded to the Sacramento Kings. Over his six-year NBA career, he has played for multiple teams including the Kings, Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, and Phoenix Suns. Jackson won an NBA championship with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021. His playing position is small forward, known for his versatility on both ends of the court. In addition to his NBA tenure, Jackson has spent time in the NBA G League, playing for the Stockton Kings and Texas Legends.
